Hello, I'm Claire.
I have been a designer and photographer since I got my degree 30 years ago. I have worked for publishing and design agencies in London and photographed for large companies and not so large independent businesses. I absolutely love what I do.
I also love children. I am a mum of two teenage boys and an elderly cairn terrier who make me happy, if a bit exasperated, on an hourly basis. Over the years I have loved photographing them growing up and now I have hundreds of photographs that take me in an instant back to that holiday in Cornwall, day out in London, afternoon making pasta together or planting potatoes in the garden. It's the everyday kind of things that resonate. The days of doing not much at all apart from being ourselves and enjoying each other's company.
I have photographed these everyday moments for other families too for the past 15 years now. I love seeing how children grow and change over the years, just like I have with my own family.
Your shoot will involve you being yourselves, a walk in the park, a trip to the seaside or fun at home, it's entirely up to you. I'm happy to tag along wherever you want to go. No posing, just enjoy yourselves and I will photograph you. Every family is unique and I'd love to photograph what makes your family who they are.
